Li'l Girl's Scrapalbum

Yes, I have named our albums SCRAPALBUM. They are after all scrapbooks and albums in one.

I am now doing my li'l girl's scrapalbum and earlier was going through poems and quotes when this caught my eye ...

"You are worried about seeing him spend his early years in doing nothing. What! Is it nothing to be happy? Nothing to skip, play, and run around all day long? Never in his life will he be so busy again." ~Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Emile, 1762

How nice and assuring.

Working

Working for the next five days will mean time to earn, time to learn, time to glorify and time to rest from activities I usually enjoy and feel blessed to be doing.

Back to School and More

Little man is back to school. He didn't need much preparation, just a simple talk of how it's going back to school routine. He was fine with everything except having to sleep early. Yes, he's just like his dad. So I've decided to extend our sleeping nights in the playroom where there's no daddy still using the computer or watching the TV. This way, we have time to pray, to talk, and to relax without the noise from all the gadgets around us.

Little man has started attending Kali as well. Coach Bong said the same thing Lola Neneng (his piano teacher) said, that he learns quick and had to progress fast on first day because he was getting bored.

That makes me both proud and scared. Proud because learning fast is a good tool; and scared because it may be a downfall if not used well.

I know that with proper guidance and lots of prayers he'll do well.

My Baby is 9. My Little Man

While most of my friends are just getting married and having babies, I already have a handsome nine-year-old boy who does so much at such a young age.

Just last night little man and I were talking in bed about how I gave birth to him with funny noises and huge exaggerations. I only imagined this before, and now it's happening. My child is grown up enough to understand it.

All the doubts from having him earlier than the rest are now gone. I am so happy to be growing up with him.

Last Day of Summer Vacation

Today's the last day of Summer vacation for Zivv. Seems like summer had just started and now it's ending. Man, oh, man. Well, we can always sneak in a mini vacation here and there.

It's time to get the kids settled in to the new schedule, get raring to go with work, and plan that out-of-the-country vacation that we're supposed to be going to just about this time.

That Li'l Boy

That Li'l Boy

He's a li'l bit rough 'round the edges but he's sweet and kind.
He's a li'l bit loud and knows no bounds but that's who he is.
If you're a li'l impatient then don't be around him.
He's outgoing so if you're not then let him be.
No one can mother him but me.

I Know I Can

Being a work-at-home mom can be tiring.

This week I had to go out of the house to work three times. Working outside the house meant monitoring and billing which would have been fairly easy, but not when you're feeling under the weather.  All this apart from having to bring the little man and little girl to the pediatrician and dentist.

Yes, in-between days you get to stay home. Yes, you get to minimize work, but not having done ALL the household chores they way you always do added to the stress I was already feeling.

Needless to say it wasn't a good week for me physically.

However, seeing my daughter take delight in riding the train and being brave while having her flu shot at the pediatrician was pure joy.

In line to buy Mommy's ticket. I'm still free!

Waiting for my train to arrive.

Loving the poles on the train.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."  Philippians 4:13

Despite the trials there are always blessing that come my way.

Oh Well. Such is Life.

I've been working for three straight days which included the weekend. Having to work outside the home and work some more at home since I have to take care of kids soon as I get home has taken a toll on me. I am now not feeling well. Oh well. Such is life.

"Life is a song - sing it. Life is a game - play it. Life is a challenge - meet it. Life is a dream - realize it. Life is a sacrifice - offer it. Life is love - enjoy it." - Sai baba

Hope to get better soon and do what I love to do.
