Difficult, I Know

The "Best Poem in the World" I read and shared  week ago is a funny but true reminder to us all to just sit back, relax and love one another despite our flaws.

But it's not that easy. I've been in many situations where I can practice this, but I don't always succeed.

In Manila traffic, particularly in my son's school, the drivers can be so short-sighted and short-tempered. I've been calm, I've been angry; I've been the recipient of others' calmness, others' anger. I've had many experiences in my car just going to my son's school's rotunda, and most of these experiences are stressful.

I've also been in worst situations where you just can't take the other person you feel is abusing you whether it's your kindness, your position in life or anything to get to you.

At the end of the day, you think they may be going through something, and you have to be more patient. But then you think too that no matter what they're going through, it simply doesn't give them the right to be mean to others.

It's difficult, I know.

So you gather all your strength to live life better.
