Transitions

Some schools and most offices are back to normal operations. My son's school and my husband's office not excluded.

A part of me wants to go back to the normal routine, and a part of me doesn't want to let go of the rainy days at home just yet.

When you're in control or at least know what's going to happen, you can prepare yourself. However, when you're not in control and don't know what's going to happen, preparing yourself for the change becomes difficult.

It seems so small, but it really is hard for me to transition from one phase to another, from one mode to another. I have to have the control. I have to have the pacing. Otherwise, I become disoriented and emotionally down.

So I am now looking for a smooth ease back into the normal routine that I look for anyway.
